- Products and Packaging
The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. The packaging of the product may vary from that shown in the image shown on our website.
- Pricing
All prices are quoted in sterling and are inclusive of VAT, unless otherwise specified.
Postage and packaging prices will be charged in addition to the price of any goods and are stated individually on the website.
- Orders
Placing an order – we keep details of the transactions you make through our site and the fulfilment of orders. This includes payment details, your name and telephone number.
If you checkout as a guest, we will store your details; name, email address, billing and shipping address, order details and payment method.
We collect details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, which URL you used to get to our Site, searches you make, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access. We collect these details to better understand how our customers arrive on and use our Site and enable us to improve it.
3.1 Payment of an order
We use third-party suppliers to provide our payment gateway and to record our fulfilment. Online payment will be provided in a secure environment. Payments must be made in sterling and by one of the following payment methods:

- Switch
- Delta
- Electron
- PayPal
If PayPal is chosen as the method of payment, you will be taken to the PayPal Site to complete payments by logging into your PayPal account and confirming payment is to be made.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.
3.2 Passing of property
We will retain ownership of the goods until full payment has been made and funds cleared.
3.3 Passing of risk
The risk in the goods will pass to the customer on delivery.
- Delivery
We will deliver the products to you as soon as reasonably possible and in any event within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order, if you are a consumer.
We use Royal Mail and courier services to fulfil our order deliveries. We will pass your name, telephone number and postal address plus order value (for insurance purposes). This will ensure that your parcel can be tracked, and you can be provided with delivery information.
If our supply of the product is delayed by an event outside of our control, then we will contact you asap and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. We will not be held liable for delays caused by the event. If there is a risk of a lengthy delay, then you may contact us and arrange for a full refund of your order.
- Returns, refunds and exchanges
5.1 Returns Policy
We really do hope that you are happy with every purchase that you make with us. However, if you’ve changed your mind about a product and it’s within 14 days of receipt of your order, we will be happy to exchange or give you a refund.
5.2 If you have changed your mind, or have decided to cancel the contract, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the product in accordance with our refund Policy below.
5.3 You must take reasonable care of the products whilst they are in your possession and you will be responsible for any loss we incur if you do not take reasonable care.
All we ask is that the returned product and packaging is carefully sealed, that it hasn’t been used and that it is in a re-saleable condition.
Please note that we are unable to take returns on products not purchased online at www.blacktreeorganics.co.uk. If you have purchased from one of our stockists, please contact them direct.

Please obtain proof of postage.
Please ensure that any returns are in their original packaging. We will notify you via email once your returns have been received and checked.
- Refunds
We will refund the price of the Products only if you have changed your mind about the product.
6.1 We will examine the returned Product and notify you of your refund via email within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and in any case, within 14 days of the day we confirmed to you via email that you are entitled to a refund of the product.
6.2 Faulty products
If your package is visibly damaged on delivery, please tell the person delivering that you wish to sign as “received damaged”.
If your goods are received as faulty or damaged once opened then please contact us at enquiries@blacktreeorganics.co.ukor call us on 01584 891722 within 48 hours of receiving your order. We would ask if you could take photographs of any damaged items and send them to enquiries@blacktreeorganics.co.uk. We can then raise any issues with our delivery company.
Products returned by you because of fault, damage in transport or mis-described will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery change for sending the item to you.
- Exchange Policy
If you’ve decided that you would like to exchange the Product and the Product has not been used and seal remains unbroken, please let us know on the returns form inside the parcel. If you do not tell us you wish an exchange we will provide a refund.
